When I first started in the painting trade as an apprentice, I remember how tough it could be.
Back then, being an apprentice often meant getting yelled at, belittled or treated like you were at the bottom of the ladder. It was just seen as part of the job and something you had to put up with while you learned the trade.
But over time I realised it doesn’t have to be that way.
At Roller Kings Painting, we want to flip the script on how tradies treat each other. Respect should be the standard, no matter your role, experience or position in the team.
Whether someone is an apprentice just starting out or a qualified tradesperson with years of experience, everyone deserves to be treated with respect and supported to grow in their role.
For us, team culture comes first.
When a team feels valued, supported and respected, they take pride in their work and in representing the business. That shows in the way we approach every project and how we treat our customers.
A strong team culture means we show up for each other, we work well together and we hold ourselves to a high standard.
And when our team is solid, we can show up solid for our customers and the community we operate in.
That’s the kind of workplace we’re proud to build at Roller Kings Painting.
